FAQs for Inn at Roundstone Farm

When is check-in? Check-out?

Check-in begins at 4 pm – however if you need an earlier check-in we will try to accommodate – just let us know. If you will be arriving ‘lateish’ – not a problem. We’ll leave you a note on how to get in and directions to your room.

Check-out is 11 am.

What is your cancellation policy?

If the cancellation is made 7 days in advance of the date of your arrival, you will be charged a $25 fee. If the cancellation is within the 7 days prior to arrival date, you will be charged for one night for each room rented unless the room can be re-rented, plus $25 fee.

What are your room rates?

They range from $200 – $235.

Do you have a two-night minimum?

For weekends – yes. Single nights are available on weekdays, but rates are better if you book two nights. We occasionally have single nights available on weekends – if you see availability on the calendar, please email us at Frank@roundstonefarm.com. Some holidays may be a three night minimum but check the calendar.

Do you serve breakfast?

Yes, we serve a great breakfast with homemade hot entrée, fresh cut fruit, homemade bread, and juice. Bacon or sausage is served on the side. If you have strict dietary needs, we will try to accommodate but cannot promise that we can always do so.

Area information

How far is the closest beach from Roundstone Farm?

Limantour Beach is about a 20 minute drive. It is a huge stretch of beach and frequently has fewer visitors than the other beaches in the area. Other beaches: Drake’s Beach 45 mins, Great North and South beaches 45-50 mins. There are also beaches on Tomales Bay: Heart’s Desire beach 25-30 mins. Are there restaurants within walking distance from Roundstone Farm?

Yes, two are located at the bottom of Olema Hill (~one block). We have a list of all the restaurants in our area including those in Pt. Reyes Station, Inverness, Marshall, Stinson Beach, and Nicasio.

How far is the Pt. Reyes Seashore Headquarters?

0.8 mile. From the Park headquarters area there are numerous hiking trails starting here as well as a small nature museum. The Kule Loklo Indian Village exhibit is here also.

Where can I get lunch makings to go?

The Olema Deli at the bottom of the hill, Pt Reyes has several delis including the Palace Grocery Store, and the Inverness Park Market in Inverness.

Are there shops/grocery store/drugstore/gas near Olema?

Yes, in Pt. Reyes Station (3 miles north). Farmers Market starts in May or June.

What is there to do in the West Marin area?

Hiking is huge. Plus biking, kayaking, good dining, superb birdwatching right at Roundstone, swimming & surfing (water is cold!), wine and mead tasting, and just relaxing is OK too!
